this may be worthy, but is it a)verifiable or b) notable?

This conference has been occuring since 1991, and is the largest conference of its kind in the entire nation by attendance. So I would say a) yes and b) yes.

It is also the oldest regional GLBTA college conference in the nation.

Although the scope of the article's coverage is impressive, I would suggest that the article should focus more on highlights and overall significance rather than becoming a laundry list of every speaker. The appearance of the article is cluttered, overfilled, and frankly self-indulgent. As an active member of the gay community, I don't at all object to the article or its intentions, I just wonder if it could be accomplished better and in more of an encyclopedic style rather than dry historical document.
