B-class article approaching Good-article status (I would think). Geology and WWII/pre-WWII history is great. I would like to see, however, more history from WWII to the present. What is life like now, to the few who still live and work here? Give more details about the eco-tourism thing initaited recently. Also crucially important is an ecology section, which this article doesn't have, despite Midway being one of the key breeding grounds for many seabirds, including the Laysan Albatross, of which millions flock each year to hatch and raise their young.
