The article reads like transport info, the accident issue seems entirely out of place, surely there is somewhere else for this sort of commentary? SatuSuro 14:32, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Dates Year day and month, are needed, also it definately isnt the first fatal accident on this line, possible since westrail metro passenger service became part of transperth. I know of at least one at James st crossing in Guildford in the late 1980's. Also one at the Collier road crossing before that. I agree this isnt the place for it, I doubt if any of these accidents really warrant an article say someting like Western Australian Train Accidents, maybe Hines Hill in 1996 would Gnangarra 04:59, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Accident

I put information on the accident here because it is about the only suitable place for it. If anyone wants to start some dedicated articles, they can feel free to. This is where I felt it belonged best at this time. I never thought that one piece of text would suddenly generate this sort of thing, but hey, it did--M Johnson (talkcontribs) 06:13, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Midland Junction Railway Station

In earlier decades, they never called them train stations :) The Midland Junction railway station history does not appear relevent in this art - as this article is about the line and its current services, so am removing text specifically relating to the ugh Midland train station - and if the fierce young editors for that article get edgy, it will be put in another art again and linked to the list about closed railway stations (which it is technically what it is. :) SatuSuro 07:11, 29 July 2006 (UTC) On second thoughts, and to avoid unnecesary argument a new article which will be linked to closed railway stations... :) SatuSuro 07:15, 29 July 2006 (UTC) It is now started at the incorrect title (need to change later) Midland Junction railway station (Western Australia) SatuSuro 07:41, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] late 1980's

Line was upgraded for electrification, most stations were modified to suit the new trians, Bassendean lost the under pass connection to the platform. Ashfield, Success, Meltham(meltham also lost, West Midland(Woodbridge) were extended in length. Maylands was reconfigured to suit vision impared commuters. Gnangarra 12:31, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
