- That's it Nick. A request for arbitration is coming up. I take it from this comment that you admit original (anonymous) authorship of this article, which was entirely taken from another website. --Brumburger 07:24, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

- For the record, No! I do not claim original authorship, I have no idea who wrote that article but for the good of Wikipedia I am in the process of clearing it to be used on here by contacting the museum, I will see what I can do so that the article can remain, if not then I agree it should be deleted... of course. Many thanks Nick Boulevard 23:06, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

WEST MIDLANDS ROUTES QUESTION: Were Midland Red's routes within the West Midlands technically transferred to the West Midlands Passenger Transport *Executive* (not Authority) in *1974* (not 1973)? Unremitting 21:50, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
CARYLE WORKS: is it relevant to mention the former Midland Red central works was latterly a major converter of minibuses? Unremitting 21:53, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Midland Red was also the name of a folk band in Leicester in the late 1970s. They were named after the bus company or at least with reference to it, but also to the politics of the music. ```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.189.164.16 (talk) 19:50, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Hmm... "First has taken over Midland Red West, trading initially as First Wyvern and latterly simply as First." I'm sure I remember them being "First Midland Red" when First took over. Perhaps First Wyvern wasn't a universal trading name? Beeurd (talk) 21:07, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
