It also breaks it down into socio-economic statistics like the median income for a household in the borough is $35,425, and the median income for a family is $43,661... Our entry tells you where to eat, what to order, which bar has the best jukebox and what you can do while you're in town... If I wanted US Census data, I'd visit www.census.gov.

I suppose that's a fair point. You Brits are posting more info about Middletown than native Pennsylvanians! I live in Middletown (in fact, my great-grandmother, at age 102, is the oldest known graduate of our high school, and the oldest resident who lived in this town all of her life).
I've heard the Mickey Mouse legend before from teachers, in addition to a few other curious (and possibly dubious) facts that I can't recall at the moment.
I do find it rather curious that your article mentions the hole-in-the-wall Demp's Corner Pub (damn place has heating ducts that every drunk over six feet tall routinely bangs their heads on!), but neglects to mention J&J's, the best pizza place in town, directly across the street from it. :)
I like how you noted Kuppy's Diner, though. I have fond memories of my grandpa taking me there as a kid. Don't worry; the locals won't get too upset that you mentioned our "secret." :)
Perhaps I'll take a walk down to the historical society museum (I've been meaning to do it anyway, out of curiousity) before it gets too cold, so I can properly update this entry. It will also give me a good excuse to visit Nana at the retirement home and get a first-hand perspective on life in Middletown during the early 20th century.
I think that Jimi X, who wrote the h2g2 entry, is also from Pensylvania. And I'm Irish. h2g2 is fairly international, actually, although it is hosted by the BBC.
I'll drop him a link to this page, and ask what he thinks of it. He might consider doing a small update, through the h2g2 curator scheme. [2]

I think perhaps there should be a section devoted to the High School's athletic achievments. It has a rich and consistent history as an athletic power-house in the area. I might look into that over the summer when I am home so I can more easily access historical information on the school. --Swarjo01 18:28, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
