The article needs a lot of work and expansion overall, but in particular the opening sentence needs to break out of the abbreviations and be more explicit about what the bloc is. Saying that it's a "FARC-EP bloc, notable for its involvement in the conflict with the AUC until the latter's demobilization in 2004" is just as obscure as saying that it's a "branch of the QRC, notable for its involvement in the conflict with the LLM-NOP." If you don't explain what either of these things stand for, and don't even put the word "Columbia" anywhere in the opening sentence, people won't know what they're looking at.
