Midreshet Yeud
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Located in Kiryat Yovel in Jerusalem, Midreshet Yeud is a pioneer, unique program for post-high school orthodox girls. The young women enrolled in Midreshet Yeud commit themselves to a year of serious Torah learning, combined with an equally weighted program of organized community service (Sherut Leumi) throughout Jerusalem. This twofold approach provides a deeply meaningful religious-Zionist experience.
Midreshet Yeud students spend two days each week volunteering with disabled children, assisting terror victim families, and participate in established Jewish organizations helping the elderly, the sick and the hungry.
Midreshet Yeud Overseas students from the USA, Canada, England, South Africa and Australia dorm, study and travel with Israeli students, forming friendships and improving their Hebrew skills; they experience Israeli society daily while giving of their time and talents to our brothers and sisters in Jerusalem.
