Midnight Murder Mania is the debut album by American death metal/grindcore band Frightmare. It was released in 2003 on Razorback Records.
[edit] Lyrical Themes
Frightmare's lyrics are influenced by slasher films of the 1970s and 1980s, which Maniac Neil is a particular fan of. Nearly all of the songs are based on a horror film, and the band use samples from either the movie or the trailer as intros.
[edit] Artwork
The cover artwork was drawn by Jake, the artist responsible for the Tales From Uranus comics, who has also drawn artwork for Ghoul and Gorerotted, as well as for Razorback Records[1]
