Middlefield Collegiate Institute (or MCI) is a public high school in the town of Markham, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the York Region District School Board. The school is named after the location which it is located.

The first classes at Middlefield Collegiate Institute officially commenced in September of 1992. Middlefield recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2002. In the same year, construction for a new classroom wing began on the south side of the school, it was completed in 2003.A new technology wing is currently being constructed. The construction is expected to be completed by September 2008.
