The Middle East Blind Mole Rat or Palestine Mole Rat (Spalax ehrenbergi) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It it found in Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, and possibly Turkey. Its natural habitat is Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation. It is threatened by habitat loss.
