Have You Changed a Vandaled Article?

Kind of a bad discussion but 'meh', i have yet to change a vandalised article yet (cries miserably). --Mickyfitz13 12:29, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm a little confused: you reverted vandalism to Eris, then you added some of your own? Michaelbusch 21:15, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry that was accidental, i didn't read the page i reverted to before i reverted it. So sorry. --Mickyfitz13 16:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

HI!, and a comment on your user page.

Hey there!

I started editing Wikipedia this summer, and I am totally addicted to it. Beware!

You currently have the formula for electrical resistance on your user page, but it links to the "resistance" disambiguation instead of the Electrical resistance article. It would be better to link directly to the correct article.

But who am I, and why do I care?!

Well, I arbitrarily decided to look at the Community Portal and find some useful stuff to do. One of the useful things is to find links to "disambiguation pages" like "resistance", and determine, for each link, what the "correct" link is. I "adopeted" the "resistance" dab, and corrected most of the links to it.

I looked at your user page when I noticed that you link.Wiki policy means that I will not edit your user page, but I did notice two things:

  • you might want to change the link
  • you might want to adopt a dab page of your own and try to fix all links to it. It's fun and fascinating,as you end up cruising the wiki to strange and unexpected places. -Arch dude 03:14, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks very much for the tips Arch Dude --Mickyfitz13 13:14, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
