[edit] I joined WP:WPM too
Except, I apparently had grassmania and thought you were stoned, that is Michael Stone interested in group theory, algebra, and representation theory on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mathematics/Participants. Do you have any pros/cons about joining? Too late for me now of course, but I'm curious. I was thinking your refs tasks might be a good task for the project too. [edit] Abstract Polytopes
I am new to editing Wikipedia. I have been working on creating an axiomatic abstract polytope definition for 40 years, mostly alone. I have not found it easy to find relevant material or sources. I do however have quite an impressive amount of material that I think will advance the subject - but need help with proving its worth by means of references. Maybe you can help...?
First, I'd be most interested in your reaction to my recent addition to the discussion page.

[edit] Determinants: repair of History section
Dear Mr. Slone:
I apologize for having accidentally deleted some of the material on Wikipedia's "Determinants" page. I believe that the deleted material has been restored. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Best regards,

[edit] permutation groups
In that the text is clearly in error, I think my idea was better of posting a counter example in the text. The text should either be deleted or corrected.01001 (talk) 23:18, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
