My current activities
Hello. You're here because you've found fault with my featured picture help. Therefore, I've put together a nice little article to tell you why I have done what I did... and, as it's just my opinions, I need to stick together a little disclaimer: This is an essay; it contains the advice and/or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. It is not a policy or guideline, and editors are not obliged to follow it. Anyway, let's press on:
[edit] My Reasons
There's a few reasons why I would go against consensus:
- There are too many Weak Supports.
- In that case, I would err on the side of caution and fail the candidate - later, the candidate can always reapply.
- I will not normally close the nomination if it has been withdrawn by the nominator.
- Why should I? Think about it - just because the person that said "Oooh! Pretty picture! Let's nominate it!" changes his/her mind, doesn't mean that it suddenly stops becoming featured picture worthy. Why should one person decide if it's a good picture or not?
