[edit] Random Stuff About Me

My website is http://jkco.net/ where I have a record of the Wikipedia Game, or I would. If the site wasn't down. But such is life. I guess I'm a big gamer; Counter-Strike: Source, Guild Wars, Command & Conquer: Generals, anything. I'm an easy-come-easy-go guy.

[edit] The Perfect Scandal

A long, long time ago, I wrote a book. It was called Perfect. It was okay, I guess, considering I was 16 when I wrote it. I suppose it started out bad, and got gradually closer to "just fine" near the end. Anyways, one boring day, I created an article about it. It was mainly to see if I could get people to read it, but, soon enough, it was classified as a vanity page. A few of my friends heard about this, and fought tooth-and-nail, for some unknown reason, so save it. Before I knew it, I had a book jacket, a standard formatting for pages, a PDF file on about 3 mirrors, an editor, and even a publisher (WFA Publications). All of these, of course, were made by my friends. Naturally, the people voting to delete it thought all of this was a lie, and it was soon surfing the web without a paddle.

The odd side effect is that now tons of people are reading my book. Heck, I have a bound edition being edited right now. And the jacket is pretty tight.

Just an interesting case-study on how a false article on good 'ol Wikipedia can be turned true by fanatics.
