My name is Michael Mayes.

I was born in Stokesley, North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom (UK)

I hold a BSc(Hons) in Physics from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, UK

I'm now working as a software engineer and living in Portsmouth, UK

I've only recently signed up to Wikipedia so it's hard to say how things will pan out on this front, but so far most of my efforts have been directed at correcting links, formatting, typos, spelling, factual errors and categories. My biggest passion/weakness is a drive to attain a consistency between articles in the same field. I'm not so into the adding of new information
