[edit] About Me
This is the WikiPedia page of Michael Hamblin. More information about me is available on my website:
Please feel free to contact me by email.
I also maintain the website Evangelical Resources and operate a blog in connection with the website.
Another website I maintain is postemergent.org which, as it is expanded, will host my thoughts on the emerging church.
[edit] My Take on Wikipedia
- In many of the more relaxed civilizations on the Outer Eastern Rim of the Galaxy, Wikipedia has already supplanted the great Encyclopedia Galactica as the standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.
- First, it is slightly cheaper; and second, it has the words OPEN SOURCE inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.

[edit] Interesting Wikipedia Articles
Some very interesting and heated WikiPedia pages in need of NPOV:
[edit] Reparative therapy of Homosexuality
While self-determination in matters of human sexuality should be valued, unfortunately many people have a hard time accepting the concept of Ex-gay as a way of being true to oneself.
- Ex-gay
- Homosexuality and psychology
- Human Rights Campaign
- International Healing Foundation
- Michael Johnston
- National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality
- Reparative therapy

[edit] Understanding American Evangelicalism
This article has been for some time the hobby-horse of individuals who have an axe to grind against "fundamentalists":

[edit] Wicca and Neopaganism
While the information as regards Wicca is fairly accurate, many of these articles are unaware of the perspectives of Christian researchers on their own religion. Some suggestions along these lines would benefit the articles. See Resources on Wicca and Neopaganism for my collection of quality resources on Wicca and Neopaganism from a Christian perspective.
