I quote from the article:

"The smallest documented microtown is in Maine with a population of exactly one (it is legally a town), although a town usually has some degree of independence"
  1. It would be nice if the name of this town was given.
  2. The "although a town usually has some degree of independence" part doesn't make sense to me. Is this sentence insinuating that this unnamed town is an exception? If so, it is not stated anywhere.
