[edit] QBasic

The claim that MS Money came from the "QBasic Money Manager" program is pretty ridiculous. Please give a citation for this information or it will be wiped out.

---

I wiped it out.

It did not come from QBasic Money Manager as that was based upon the DOS 6.2 operating system, it evolved as all software does. I still run the former in my business as it works perfectly for my purposes. Over the years QBasic Money Manager has run on Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows XP. Sadly my accountant has now advised me to upgrade to a more modern version, that is how I came across this article.(Turnover in excess of £700,000) I shall be transferring data soon and if it can be done without manually entering the data on the latest version then I shall write in here the various steps for a sucessful transfer. I do not dislike change, I am a great believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
