[edit] Merge proposal

I was wondering about how similar/dissimilar "micrometeorology" and "microscale meteorology" are while I was writing the article. I went ahead because I got the feeling that the terms have different meanings. Micrometeorology is more concerned with near-ground phenomena, whereas microscale meteorology could include cloud microphysics. I think the distinction that micrometeorology deals with the surface layer needs to be made if the merge is made. Jason Patton (talk) 05:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
