I was linking information about myself because I am the chair of the IGDA Game Accessibility SIG that is mentioned on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_accessibility -- I was also recently named by Next Gen Magazine as one of the [ http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3783&Itemid=36 100 most influential women in the game industry]

I wanted to link to myself so that people interested in game accessibility can find information on wikipedia if they only remember my name. I wasn't trying to waste time or space -- I was just trying to add a listing on the game accessibility wikipedia page of people who are advocating for this. I hope you'll allow me to keep this so that I can add other people who are well known for game accessibility work to the Game Accessibility wikipedia page.

I've also worked as a usability engineer for several xbox launch titles and am currently the vice president of DonationCoder.com

Please let me know/give me some hints on how to make my page better so that it doesn't get deleted.

Hello, and welcome! You may find the guidelines provided under WP:BIO helpful in determining what must be met to establish that a person is notable enough to warrant an article. The other possibility is that sometimes those who do not merit their own article may be worthy of mention in a subsection of a larger one, if you would like to use this option please ask for help in merging. • I cleaned up the article and removed a lot of redundancy after closing its AfD discussion. I think the subject is notable but care has to be taken to keep it from becoming a tribute instead of a NPOV article. KrakatoaKatie 10:15, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Thank you for cleaning up the page -- it looks great now and now I understand how things work in wikipedia! It will help as my colleagues and I work on building up on the game accessibility entry -- which is the main page of importance to me personally. :) Vrgrrl 01:23, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
