Talk:Michael Savage

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Don't you think this page needs some disambiguation? Most people currently looking for Michael Savage aren't going to be looking for the PM of NZ, they'd be wanting to know about the, whatever you call him, TV commentary guy. -- John Owens 23:25 Apr 1, 2003 (UTC)

Neither do I, but there's some far-right guy who's just been hired by Fox News (I think? Or was it MSNBC?), who likes bashing all kinds of different people apparently, and thus is getting more than his fair share of attention. You're not missing much, from what I gather. But he is a much more likely topic for people to be looking for "Michael Savage" for, at the moment. -- John Owens

You are blind mentally. It was MSNBC! Get it straight before you attempt to talk.

[edit] Change disambig

Maybe this page should be "Michael Savage (disambiguation)". It seems to me that a Prime Minister of a country ought to be on the main page. Agree? - Jord 18:36, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Actually, our former Prime Minister is more commonly referred to by his full name than by the shorter form. (I don't know why — in my experience, we New Zealanders rarely make use of our middle names at all, let alone use them by default). I would support his article being at Michael Joseph Savage even if there were no need to distinguish him from anyone else. I would prefer, though, that the Michael Savage article be kept as a disambiguation page, rather than be given to one of the other Savages. -- Vardion 03:43, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
