[edit] Honors Confusion

There seems to be some confusion over the honor that he was awarded. Some reports are for a KBE, eg:

While others picked up on the fact that he was awarded a Knight Bachelor, which is not the equivalent to a KBE.

[edit] Chat show

Parkinson the chat show ran on the BBC from 71 to 82. Then for 16 years the Parkinson show was off our screens. It came back to the BBC in 98 ran until 04 when he got a better offer from ITV where it is now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.137.227.238 (talk) 11:06, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
