The information that he is Austrian is from:

It is consistent with [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. I reckon he took the Austrian citizenship in 1950 when he returned to Europe, but I have found no source for this. --FordPrefect42 21:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
