I added the POV dispute, as lots of this page's material is taken from Antonovich's website for the Board of Supervisors (see especially, but not only, http://antonovich.co.la.ca.us/issues/issues.html). Dowiha 03:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

What is the deal with all the discussion of his fraternity? It seems a bit excessive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.66.49 (talk) 01:44, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

This article is biased. It reads like campaign literature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Utbriancl (talkcontribs) 01:56, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it's biased. In both directions. I found no source to cite for the contentious claim that Antonovich's office prepared the report griping about the cost of illegal aliens, and removed it as required by BLP policy. But as we flesh out the article, it should gradually become less biased - as much as possible for an active politician. (It's a good bet that most if not all of the biographic sketches are ones he or his staff supplied. The [Metropolitan News profile] appears to be an honorable exception.)

This is about tag cleanup. As all of the tags are more than a year old, there is no current discussion relating to them, and there is a great deal of editing done since the tags were placed, they will be removed. This is not a judgement of content. If there is cause to re-tag, then that of course may be done, with the necessary posting of a discussion as to why, and what improvements could be made. This is only an effort to clean out old tags, and permit them to be updated with current issues if warranted.Jjdon (talk) 19:31, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
