This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Michael Craddock was the first sponsor of the meal ban. When he was elected he made it known quickly that he did not care for specail interest groups providing free meals to the Council Members before the Council meetings. He was successful in inserting the meal ban into the comprehensive ethics bill that the Council passed.

The independent auditor will begin work on September 18, 2007.
