A very good article, maybe lacking a bit about his early life. Should be GA with a little more work. Tim 13:58, 27 February 2007 (UTC) (edit)

- Articles needing a content fork
- Mainly, these are articles on films and either their source or subsequent musicals. There are a couple where the musical needs to be "forked" from the source material. Feel free to add or remove as necessary. Important: If you split an article, please make sure that you move all the relevant links from the first article to the new one. To find which links to move, click on "What links here" at the old article and look through the list to see which links should be pointed to the film related link (for example, articles on actors in the film). Then, click on those links and update them to point to the film article. Thanks!

Besides the footballer, there are numerous notable guys named Michael Ball. The leading underwater diver is one Australian skin diver. In Germany, there is the sculptor. There are noted U.S. and Canadian actors and singers with the name, as well as numerous influential business leaders. In Ireland there is a renowned classical composer and musician. While not exactly the "John Smith" of names, it is fairly common. There are quite a few carrying it who are more noted than the footballer. A blog covering these folk is Michael Ball Only Club.
Could someone make a disambiguation page for Michael Ball? I don't know how to do it but I think it is necessary since there is also an article about the footballer.137.224.252.10
I created the disambiguation page. Bertil 13:58, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Two pages?
There seems to be two pages called Michael Ball (singer), with a minor difference. One is at: Michael_Ball_(singer) and the other is at Michael_Ball_%28singer%29. The former has no image, the later does. The text on both pages appears to be identical. I don't know why this is, but I think its wrong. Nicgarner (talk) 14:49, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Looks like its already fixed, or it was a one time error, as I can't reproduce the error now. Nicgarner (talk) 14:52, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- "%28singer%29" is the same as "(singer)" in computer talk, so they both link to the same page. Snowman (talk) 15:04, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
