[edit] CGA Franciscan?

In 1960 Ball founded a Franciscan monastic community at Stratford Park

Where did the "Franciscan" bit come from? Flapdragon 22:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Cannot find. Have removed reference. Have got a member of staff at the museum in the park trying to find more info/references. He was certainly living in Stratford Park, while he was teaching at Marling. Tinminer 12:24, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Good stuff. Just that being Francisan would presumably make it a Catholic order. Flapdragon 12:34, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

There are communities that follow the Franciscan rule outside of the Roman Catholic Church. If my memory serves the CGA rule mirrored the basic Franciscan tripod of poverty, chastity and obedience. , 10 September 2007 (UTC)10-09-2007 Xschemer 08:18, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
