I am surprised that this page causes problems - there are, at least two, that carry similar content - 'Jason Bradbury' and 'Tom Dunmore'. These seem perfectly acceptable.

So why is the Mic Wright article subject to possible deletion?

A simple reason would be helpful.

Hi Wmike, the reason that the article MAY be proposed for deletion by another editor is that it is unclear whether Mic satisifies Wikipedia's notability requirements, specifically those for biographies. This is not a judgement on Mic but is a judgement on the article which needs firstly to assert Mi's notability and then also to verify it through the citation of reliable sources.
The other problem with this article is that it has been written by someone related to Mic which is why it has a conflict of interest tag on it - obviously it is much harder to be objective about someone close to you and it is important that readers of the article should be aware that the primary author is a close relation of the subject.
With regard to your comments about other articles on Wikipedia the argument that other stuff exists is not a justification that carries any weight. In real life you might call it two wrongs don't make a right.
I hope this helps to explain why the article has been tagged - Wikipedia has a lot of policies and it is often difficult for newcomers to find their way around them. I will also leave some useful links on your own talk page. Please do drop me a note at my talk page if you would like any help with this article. Kind regards and good luck with your editing, nancy 17:15, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
