Microtune MT2060
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Microtune MT2060 is a single chip silicon tuner capable of receiving analogue and terrestrial TV. It is commonly used in USB digital TV receivers for PC and Mac due to its small size and power consumption. A number of internal PCI dual tuner TV cards also use the MT2060 because it allows a dual-tuner card to be produced that is no larger than a single tuner card.
[edit] Technical specification
- Supply Voltage (DC) 3.3V
- Noise Figure at max gain 8dB
- Image rejection 60dB
- AGC range 30dB **
- Frequency range 48 - 860MHz
-
- The AGC range of the MT2060 is more limited than Xceive's XC3028 (30dB vs 80dB) which means that products based around the MT2060 typically include a separate low-noise amplifier (LNA) before the signal reaches the MT2060.
