Microspace PC

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Microspace PC was a design concept for X86-based compact computer systems. The X86 systems were first invented by the Digital Logic company.

The main goals for the project were:

  • A rugged case
  • Passive cooling without fans and therefore silent and clean inside.
  • Small size (not much larger than a CD-jewel case)
  • All the available options for the chipset

There were two main designs:

  • MPC 3x: based on P5
  • MPC 4x: based on Centrino/Pentium-M and Intel 855 Chipset
