Microsoft Office Online is the Microsoft Office tools and assistance Web site. The site provides Office how-to articles, tips, training courses, templates, clip art, stock photos and media, downloads (including add-ins for Microsoft Office programs), productivity-enhancing tools, and Web-based services.

Office Online content is exclusively available on the internet, unlike Microsoft Windows or Visual Studio documentation which is also available on disc in subscriptions like TechNet Library or MSDN Library.

As of November 2004, Microsoft Office Online received over 52 million unique visitors, with over 746 million page views, ranking it in the top 100 sites worldwide.
