Microprose Systems, LLC.is a North American video game, video game accessories, and consumer electronics developer, reformed from the MicroProse brand in 2007.

During the Summer of 2007, the Microprose brand and several of its properties were acquired from Atari Interactive to form Microprose Systems LLC.[citation needed] A website was launched in February of 2008, and an initial product lineup of consumer electronics, cabling, power products, and game controllers were announced. Initial public reaction to the relaunching of the MicroProse brand was mixed. [1][2]

The Microprose Systems LLC. is divided into two new divisions: Microprose "Blue" and Microprose "Red". "Blue" is Microprose's consumer electronics division, and Microprose "Red" is its video game and software division.[citation needed] No further information is currently available on which intellectual property rights besides the MicroProse brand were tranfered to MicroProse Systems LLC. As of Spring 2008, Microprose Blue's currently announced products include an NTIA certified[4][5] digital television receiver, HDMI device switcher, cabling, a PSP combined battery/stand, and a line of game controllers. The products are expected to be available in retail channels during late spring/early summer 2008. They have also stated software development has begun,[6] however no further information is currently available.
