Micrelenchus rufozonus is a species of small sea snail which has a shell with a pearly interior. It is a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top snails or top shells.

This species is endemic to the North Island of New Zealand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small, with spiral cords, five on the penultimate whorl, and rather wide smooth interspaces.
Shell coloration is white, with the spiral cords deep pink to dark purplish-brown.
The shell height is up to 9 mm, and the width is up to 7 mm.
