Micrelenchus caelatus morioria is a subspecies of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top shells.

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand's Chatham Islands.

This top snail is found from the intertidal zone to depths of up to 30 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is roundly turbinate in shape, solid, with strong smooth spiral cords, having linear interspaces, five cords on the early spire-whorls, six on the penultimate, and 14 on the body whorl and base.
Shell coloration is pinkish-white, the spirals continuously lined in scarlet, occasionally broken up into closely spaced dashes on the base.
The shell height is up to 7 mm, and the width is up to 6 mm.
