Micrelenchus caelatus archibenthicola is a subspecies of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top shells.

This subspecies is endemic to Otago in New Zealand.

This top snail is found at depths of between 475 and 640 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small, stongly angulated, with fine nodulation of the spirals, and a different colour pattern to Micrelenchus caelatus mortenseni, with light pink, rather irregular, axial bands on a creamy-white ground.
The shell height is up to 4 mm, and the width is up to 4 mm.
