Thomas studied at Pratt Institute (BFA 2000), and Yale University (MFA 2002)

Thomas' work has exhibited nationally at galleries and museums. Her work has been featured in several important exhibitions including "Greater New York at PS1, and The Studio Museum in Harlem.
