Mick Whitnall

Mick Whitnall is the present lead guitarist and song writing partner for Pete Doherty's rock band, Babyshambles, replacing former guitarist Patrick Walden. Born 7 November 1968 in Doncaster. Lived in South Africa for a time when he was a young boy when his Dad got work over there.
Mik is Whitnall's preferred spelling of his christian name.
Before this, Whitnall played with Kill City fronted by Peter Doherty's ex-girlfriend Lisa Moorish, and also in bands including Finley Quaye's band and ska band 100 Men . On Babyshambles currently on sale single 'Delivery', Mik produces his own solo version of 'The Blinding's' 'I Wish'.
Before hitting the big time, he spent several years in the rag trade as a clothing salesman at London's Camden market, Carnaby St and Brick Lane.
Mik recently signed a publishing deal with Stage Three Music Limited on the basis of his major contribution to the Babyshambles album Shotter's Nation.
