Mick McGeough (born June 20, 1957, Regina, Saskatchewan) was a National Hockey League referee, who wore uniform number 19. His NHL career began in 1987. McGeough was one of the last NHL officials to officiate NHL games without wearing a helmet when he was on the ice. In the 2006–07 NHL season, McGeough was forced by the NHL to wear a helmet on ice, as it was the first season that dictated that all on-ice officials had to do so. Entering the 2007–08 NHL season, McGeough had officiated 1,023 regular season and 63 post season games.
His last career regular season game was the Anaheim Ducks – Los Angeles Kings contest on April 5, 2008.[1]
