There are several small villages in Michelsneukirchen, for example Dörfling, Woppmannsdorf, Momannsfelden, Regelsmais and Ponholz.

The village belonged to the masters of Falkenstein.

Michelsneukirchen's crest is "divided by red and gold; a silver flaming sword in front, three tilted lozenges in the back."

Church service every Sunday at 9.30 with traditional "Frühschoppen" afterwards. (I.e. go for a drink in one of the local pubs until lunch is served.)

With its various sights, e.g. several crystal clear bathing ponds like Pforrer-and Hallerweiher, two traditional butcher's shops, a state-of-the-art defecator and a cosy bench next to an architecturally masterful well, gargantuan Michelsneukirchen is a popular destination of excursions. Moreover, there are several trees, houses and even a church.

Due to its exceptional beauty, Michelsneukirchen was successful in a competition called "Unser Dorf soll schöner werden" (Let's prettify our village") several times. Apart from that, the village is famous for the outstanding quality of the applied fertilizer ("Odl") and its good air.
