Michelle Tuzee

Michelle Tuzee joined KABC-TV [1] in 1997 as an anchor at 4 pm and 6 pm Eyewitness News HD newscasts with Marc Brown. When Laura Diaz left KABC-TV to work for KCBS-TV,Tuzee was promoted to the 11 pm anchor at KABC-TV.In August 2007 Michelle And Marc Brown now anchor the 5pm newscast plus the 11pm newscast,and David Ono And Ellen Levya will replace her and Marc Brown on the 4pm and 6pm newscast.

Tuzee majored in journalism at the University of Southern California. Her first job out of college was at KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado where she began as a general assignment reporter and later became a producer and anchor. She later worked as a reporter at WBAY-TV in her native state of Wisconsin followed by stints at WFTX-TV in Fort Myers, Florida and WSVN-TV in Miami, Florida.


Michelle is married to freelance correspondent Craig Gropper. They have one son and two daughters
