Michelle Turner

Michelle Kay Hollands (born August 1, 1974 in Palmerston North) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who was born under her maiden name Turner. She finished in sixth position with the Women's National Team, nicknamed Black Sticks, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Hollands returned to top level hockey in late 2005 after having a baby. Her outstanding form for Canterbury in the NHL earned her a recall to the national side to play Australia in October. Hollands last played for New Zealand at the 2002 Women's Hockey World Cup.
