Michelle Moran

Michelle Moran (born August 11, 1980) is a bestselling American author.
Born in Los Angeles, California and educated at Pomona College and Claremont Graduate University, she worked as a high-school English teacher for six years before turning to fiction writing full-time. She has traveled around the world and participated in archaeological digs, all of which inspired her to write in the genre of historical fiction. Her National Bestselling novel, Nefertiti[1], debuted July 10, 2007 and will be followed by several books on women in ancient history.
Moran's novels have been published in both the UK [2] and the US, and have been translated and sold in more than 15 countries, including France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Brazil, Greece, Poland, Russia, China, and Taiwan.
