[edit] Earlier life and performances
Michelle L'amour began a dancing career later than normal for a professional. She began studying ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern and lyrical at the age of 15. Michelle began dancing striptease at age 22[1].
While earning a degree in finance from the University of Illinois[2], she began her dancing career. Weeks before graduation she began choreographing for a rock-n-roll revue and developing what would later be her burlesque troupe Lavender (later named The Lavender Cabaret).
She won the title of title of Miss Exotic World 2005 with her Snow White routine, after three years as a burlesque dancer[2][3]. (The Miss Exotic World Pageant is akin to the Miss America of burlesque).
[edit] Recent activities
As of this writing, she has appeared on numerous television programs, including Fox's "A Current Affair", STAR Network (Canada) "Everything...", MSNBC's "The Situation with Tucker Carlson"*, Showtime's "Sexual Healing" and NBC's "America's Got Talent"[4].
After a 14 year career as a political pundit on television, known for his conservative views and fashion-free bowtie Tucker Carlson did the unthinkable. After Michelle performed a striptease on his national news magazine show, he decided to rid himself of the bowtie forever. He no longer wears it. When asked why on his show, he showed footage of him taking it off during a "hot and bothered" moment while watching Ms. L'amour do her thing[4].
After a performance in 2002, a woman threw her undergarments on the stage. This started a trend which has become a staple at Michelle L'amour performances. In fact, Michelle has started donating money to various charitable organizations for every female's undergarment collected after her performance.
