Michelle Caruso-Cabrera

Michelle Caruso-Cabrera is a business news General Assignment Reporter for CNBC television. She formerly co-hosted the Worldwide Exchange program airing from 4-6am ET (along with Christine Tan in Asia and Ross Westgate in Europe). Caruso-Cabrera announced her departure from the show on 2007-10-19. Recently, CNBC.com credited Caruso-Cabrera as a General Assignment Reporter.
As part of CNBC's extensive market coverage, Caruso-Cabrera started appearing regularly on Power Lunch in an analyst-cum-correspondent capacity.

Ms. Caruso-Cabrera graduated from Wellesley College in 1991 with a degree in economics. Prior to joining CNBC in 1998, she worked as a reporter for WTSP-TV in St. Petersburg, Florida, and prior to that as a special projects producer for Univision where she won an Emmy Award for a five-part series on children with AIDS. Michelle also received a Broadcaster of the Year (2004) award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Michelle Caruso-Cabrera is Cuban-American.
