Michele Mitchell is the Founder & President of Filmat11.tv. Michele has over 15 years experience in journalism, politics, and digital media.
Michele is the youngest person ever to serve on the Editorial Board of the New York Times and was the youngest ever Communications Director on Capitol Hill under then House Representative Pete Geren. She was the on-camera Political Anchor for CNN Headline News, a Gracie Award-winning investigative correspondent for “NOW with Bill Moyers” on PBS, a contributor to “All Things Considered” on National Public Radio, and the Executive Producer and reporter on a feature-length documentary in war-time Afghanistan. Her articles have appeared in virtually every major US newspaper and she has appeared on major TV an radio news shows. She has published three fiction and non-fiction books (one US regional bestseller and Germany bestseller), and is active in alternative distribution for independent film and journalism.
Michele received both her Dean’s List honors Journalism B.A. and M.A. in 4 years from Northwestern University, serves on the Authors Guild Council for the Authors Guild of America, and is a superior marathon runner with passable Italian who is learning French.
