[edit] Career

Michele sold her first book, a romantic comedy called Daddy In Training to Hard Shell Word Factory in 1998. She's sold novels, novellas, short stories, poetry and nonfiction to many electronic and print publishers. Her articles have appeared in Writer's Digest Magazine, RT BOOKreviews Magazine, and Byline Magazine.

In 2003, she won the Grand Prize in the 72nd Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition for her dark suspense short story, "A Mother Scorned." During her grand-prize-winning trip to New York, she met and signed with Stephanie Kip Rostan with the Levine Greenberg Literary Agency. Just a few months later, Stephanie sold Michele's erotic romantic comedy, Cupid, Inc., to New American Library (NAL).

NAL has contracted six of Michele's books, two erotica novels (Cupid, Inc. and Fantasyland) and four books in the Broken Heart Vampire series: I'm The Vampire, That's Why (2006), Don't Talk Back To Your Vampire (2007), Because Your Vampire Said So (2008), and Wait Until Your Vampire Gets Home (2008). She continues to write short erotic fiction for electronic publishers Changeling Press, Ellora's Cave, and Loose Id.
