Michel Pharaon

Michel Pharaon (Arabic: ميشال فرعون), a Lebanese politician, is Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Fouad Siniora Government. He has been in this position since July 19, 2005. He is a Member of the Lebanese Parliament part of the Future Movement Bloc.

He was born in Beirut in 1959.

He received a degree in economics from the St. Joseph University in 1980 before earning an MBA from the University of Paris in 1981. He heads several boards of directors including the Mednet insurance company and the Commerce du Levant magazine. He is the deputy president of the Ruphayil Pharaon and Sons company and of Pharaon Holding [1]. He is scion of the wealthy and influential Melkite Greek Catholic Pharaon Family.
