Michel Bon

Michel Bon is a French businessman and politician born in 1943. He is a graduate of the ESSEC, of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, of the École nationale d'administration and of Stanford Business School.

He worked at the banks Crédit Nationale and Crédit Agricole. He has been CEO then Chairman of the supermarket group Carrefour. In September 1993, he was nominated as the head of the French National Employment Agency. He was Chairman of France Télécom from 1995 to 2002.

He is currently president of the Institut Pasteur. He is also an administrator at Lafarge and Air Liquide.

He is married and has four children.
