Michael Wright (Australian politician)

Michael Wright is an Australian politician. He has been an Australian Labor Party member of the South Australian House of Assembly since 1997, representing the electorate of Lee.
Wright has a Bachelor of Education, and has held ministry positions since the election of his party in 2002. Wright currently hold portfolios for Administrative Services and Government Enterprises, Industrial Relations, Recreation Sport and Racing, and has previously held the portfolios for Gambling as well as Transport.
Lee, regained by Wright at the 1997 election on a margin of 7.1% is now almost very safe Labor on a margin of 19.3% as of the 2006 election.
Wright was recently caught breaching his own government's new water restrictions. A sprinkler was left on in his yard for several hours in the morning, despite the only allowed hours for watering being 8-11pm.[1]
