At the age of 14 Michael was the founding member of the ska group Urban Noise, at 15 the new wave group Pisco, at 16 the ska-punk group Basic radio, at 19 the hard rock ska group Elephant Men and at 23 the third wave ska group Critical Mass. Michael has also performed as a saxophonist with The Uptones, The Kehoe Nation, Monkey, Missing Link and Jack Killed Jill. He is currently writing and recording with Two Stone Killers.
